We had so much fun with the NYE dinner we had at Moonlight Vulture, that a Vegan Valentines Day Aphrodisiac Menu sounds very appropriate!
We’ll be serving 5 courses of delectable dishes, each with ingredients and textures rumored to have aphrodisiac qualities. Do they work? We’ll let you be the judge of that.
This dinner will also feature dessert by the former owner of Sugar Beat Sweets bakery in San Francisco, Melisser Elliott!
Gluten Free options are available, and we assure you it will all be vegan and delicious…

Blini with Cashew Creme Fraiche and Kelp Caviar
We’ll make a yukon gold and buckwheat blini, topped with our cashew creme fraiche, and a bit of kelp caviar and dill
Warm Velvet Cauliflower Soup
A silken velvet cauliflower soup seasoned with vadouvan spice, drizzled with chile-saffron oil, and topped with fresh herbs. Served with our housemade country bread.
Beeting Heart Salad
Marinated beet hearts, butter lettuce, pine nuts tarragon, preserved lemon vinaigrette, and herbed almond chevre.
Chile-braised yuba and meltable cheese filled tamales, housemade mole, avocado, and whipped cashew sour cream.
Melisser’s Black Forest Brownie with Cherries and Whip
A double chocolate brownie, tart cherry reduction, cashew whipped cream
The 5-course dinner is an all inclusive (no tax, no tip!) $50, and we will have 2 seatings.
